Each strap comes with a metal buckle and connectors; the Apple Watch itself is not included. Each strap includes two keepers (one of which is fixed). **Premium Italian Vegetable-Tanned Leather** The strap features “Dollaro” vegetable-tanned leather, produced by the renowned Conceria Walpier tannery in the Tuscany region of Italy, using bovine hide. This distinct, beautiful leather features a natural pebbled texture and a two-tone finish, giving the surface a unique, 3D character. **Leather Lining** The lining consists of “Buttero” vegetable-tanned leather from the same Conceria Walpier tannery. As the lining sits directly against the skin, we exclusively use natural, undyed “Buttero” leather. **Strap Thickness** The thickness is approximately 2.5 mm. After a few days of wear, it will adapt to fit your wrist comfortably. **How to distinguish vegetable-tanned leather?** Developed through centuries of refined craftsmanship, vegetable tanning imparts a unique aesthetic and unparalleled durability. Due to the significantly longer production time, lower level of automation, and the need for highly specialized artisans, the production cost of vegetable-tanned leather is considerably higher, meaning it is not widely used—accounting for only about 20% of global leather production compared to 80% for chrome-tanned leather. Unfortunately, it is difficult for an inexperienced eye to distinguish the difference. However, you can always trust your nose: vegetable-tanned leather emits a rich, distinct leathery aroma that plastic, synthetic, or other tanning-method leathers lack.
