【Artist】 Sanyu (1901–1966), a native of Nanchong, Sichuan, was among the earliest Chinese students to study abroad under the Chinese government’s “Work-Study” program in 1920, heading to France. Sanyu’s works embody a unique fusion of Eastern and Western aesthetics, frequently featuring nudes, flowers, landscapes, and animals. Known for his free-spirited nature, Sanyu infused his works with subtle melancholy—his simple lines often evoke a sense of solitude that resonates deeply with viewers. 【Product Theme】 This piece portrays zebras running in the open wilderness, but their destination is unclear.
