The land where the cotton is grown must be fallow for 3 years. During the growth process, no pesticides, chemical fertilizers, insecticides, herbicides, or defoliants are used. The seeds must also be free from fungicides. General cotton materials on the market use one kilogram of insecticide for every three kilograms of cotton, along with bleach and chemical dyes. Chemical fertilizers are also used to accelerate the growth of the cotton. In contrast, 100% organic cotton T-shirts are made from cotton processed without any chemical raw materials, offering a more comfortable wearing experience with "zero" burden. Imported cotton requires organic certification from an international organization. Fabric production factories must also obtain international certification – GOTS organic cotton certification.
