We cherish its relaxed, natural appearance that allows you to enjoy "aging" rather than "deterioration." Woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, the fabric may exhibit "weaving flaws" that can appear as small "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of vintage machinery, we diligently inspect each piece and take care to avoid these areas when cutting the fabric. We also strive to use them in inconspicuous locations if found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it's impossible to eliminate them entirely.
