**Pattern Introduction**
【Amusing】 The Beginning of Sanshing Four Seasons
Occasionally, one might spot a Ruddy-breasted Crake dashing across the road in Sanshing Township during summer. Often, a few tiny, dark-eyed chicks follow closely behind the mother hen. This curiosity about the disappearing chicks on the road sparked a journey of observation, documentation, and drawing, thus beginning the Sanshing Four Seasons Blue and White collection. The Ruddy-breasted Crake's naturally amusing demeanor has become the spirit and logo of Sanshing Four Seasons. The next time you drive through Sanshing, please join us in keeping an eye out for these adorable little creatures.
【Sweet】 Juicy and Sweet Shangjiang Pears
The air, water quality, pollution-free environment, and humid climate of Sanshing are essential for cultivating these precious and unique ground pears, offering a refreshing sweetness on hot summer days.
【Red Adornment】 An-Nong River's Chinese Hackberry
Along the An-Nong River in Xingjian Village, besides the beautiful bald cypress forests, stand several Chinese Hackberry trees that bear fruit in winter. Small, round, red fruits hang in abundant clusters, adorning the trees and adding a touch of red to the verdant banks of the An-Nong River.
【Friendship】 Neighborly Bonds
Living in Sanshing, it's common to find vegetables from neighbors casually left at your doorstep. A significant spirit in Yilan is the willingness to "do," meaning people cultivate not only their own land but also public land, riverbanks, and roadsides – anywhere with soil.
【Endless Vitality】 Pristine Dragonflies
Nestled against the mountains, Sanshing boasts abundant water resources and sandy ditches. The waterlogged ditches by the fields are often home to dragonfly and damselfly larvae, guppies, and small shrimp. Larger channels may even host tilapia, Thai bitterling, mitten crabs, soft-shelled turtles, and other aquatic life. The survival of dragonflies is closely linked to clean water sources and ecological cycles, making them a symbol of health and purity.
【Good Fortune】 The Arrival of Spring Swallows
In spring, many homes in Sanshing have swallows nesting under their eaves, considered a symbol of good luck. At dusk, flocks of swallows can often be seen skimming low over fields and streams, catching insects. The arrival of swallows signals the beginning of beautiful spring days.
【Accumulation】 Grains Gathering into Piles
The Lanyang River and its tributary, the Luodong River, which surround Sanshing, are lined with vast fields of silver grass and stony riverbeds. During the plum rain season in April and May, floodwaters carry sand and gravel from upstream. Along the Lanyang River, the rumbling sounds of sand and gravel screening machines and falling stones can be heard as grains accumulate into piles, forming cone-shaped gray hills along the riverbanks.

【Craftsmanship】
Hand-glazed. Blue and White Stamping
★ This piece is handcrafted, embracing a natural, free-flowing feel and organic variations. Due to high-temperature firing, the final shape may not be perfectly round, and each piece will have slight differences in size and form.
The white glaze on the artwork is hand-dipped, resulting in natural flow patterns and occasional marks. The hand-stamped blue and white patterns will exhibit varying shades of intensity after firing. Natural brown iron spots or blue glaze dots may occasionally appear. Please refrain from ordering if you have extremely high expectations for color consistency.
【Dimensions】
Height: 3cm, Diameter: 19.5cm
【Material】
Ceramic clay. Fired at 1230°C.
★ Please note! The blue and white patterns are naturally stamped, not printed or applied with decals, hence they feature organic, irregular edges and textures.
【Usage and Care】
Can be heated in a rice cooker and washed with water or detergent.
To prolong its lifespan, avoid microwave heating. Handcrafted ceramicware may develop cracks if heated unevenly in a microwave due to significant temperature differences.
