Fish are flowing emotions; I explore my relationship with them. For the first time, I realized that the flow of emotions could transform into fish. The intensity of their substance and warmth dictates their size. When I close my eyes, they are all around me. Desire—displaying desire without reservation. *** The Koi Trilogy is a self-healing creation. When emotions are filled with seeds of unease, that unease manifests as enormous fish. At times, I gaze at the fish from a distance, or draw near to reconcile. Embracing the fish is embracing one's own vulnerability.
