Green Sandalwood is among the heaviest woods globally, featuring a flame-like grain pattern with strong interlocked grain, and a rich oil content, ensuring excellent durability and pest resistance. Its color ranges from a striking green to a yellowish-brown, emitting a unique, sweet aroma reminiscent of kombu. ・Taiwanese Xiao Nan: This wood is dense and finely textured, with indistinct growth rings. The heartwood is yellowish-brown, hence its common name "yellow-fleshed," and is traditionally used for construction, carving, coffins, and furniture.
