PS: Many of our loyal customers who purchased the large box received a complimentary incense holder, leading to an accumulation of holders at home. To prevent waste, we have introduced a new option. The price remains the same, but it now includes a Palo Santo pyramid (compressed Palo Santo powder) made in Peru. If you already have a suitable incense holder (please note that our self-made incense sticks are quite thick and may not fit standard holders), you can also select this option.
The Origin of Bai Jing Incense:
After importing white sage for some time, I often wondered if it were possible to combine the sacred incense from the Americas with the traditional Eastern incense. Both have been passed down through millennia in incense history. Perhaps, we could try merging the fragrances of these two worlds at this moment. Thus, Bai Jing Incense was born. "Bai" (White) refers to the significant proportion and leading role of white sage in this blended formula. "Jing" (Pure/Clear) signifies the combination with over twenty types of traditional Eastern incense ingredients used for clearing negative energies.
Following ancient methods, the white sage is self-imported and ground into a fine powder. The other ingredients are over twenty types of 100% medicinal Chinese herbs, finely ground. Unlike many incense makers who use scraps or lower-grade materials for their incense, ours is crafted from medicinal-grade ingredients intended for human consumption. A 100% high-grade natural binder is used, distinguishing it from synthetic or mixed binders, and even natural binders vary in quality. Prepared with natural spring water collected at noon on the Dragon Boat Festival (the summer solstice), every element from start to finish is purely natural, made with 100% genuine, high-quality materials.
About Bai Jing Incense:
A perfect fusion of Eastern and Western incense traditions, presenting a unique and unparalleled elegance. Crafted from white sage, a sacred purification element from ancient Native American civilizations in California, USA, and blended with over twenty types of precious, medicinal incense ingredients from China's millennia-old tradition of clearing negative energies, such as sandalwood and agarwood. The resulting aroma is rich and profound, elevated by the clear yet subtle finish of white sage, creating a densely layered and complex fragrance.
Ingredients: 100% Natural Pure White Sage Powder, Over 20 types of 100% Natural Medicinal Herb Powder, Incense Powder, High-Grade Natural Binder, Noon Water.
Brand Exclusivity:
Taiwan's incense-making techniques originated in China, with a long and rich history. The intricacies involved are extensively documented in classical texts like "Xiang Cheng" and "Xiang Dian." During China's Cultural Revolution, when incense craftsmanship was nearly lost, Taiwan independently developed and refined its techniques over a considerable period. Consequently, Taiwan's incense-making skills surpass those of many other nations. The unique characteristics of the incense sold in this store are:
1. The aroma of our incense sticks closely resembles the original materials (compare with our Clearing Incense Powder).
2. The advantage of incense sticks is their longer burning time and resistance to interruptions caused by humidity or other factors (loose leaves may sometimes extinguish due to weather or humidity).
3. Easy to carry (my incense tubes are designed for durability).
4. Crafted by a traditional incense master in Taiwan, a rare profession today. Though young, they learned the craft from seasoned masters, building a solid foundation and advanced techniques. Furthermore, the elder masters placed great emphasis on every step of the incense-making process, even considering auspicious times and dates for production.
5. Made with Noon Water (the Dragon Boat Festival is the day with the strongest Yang energy of the year, and noon, when the sun is directly overhead, is the time of day with the most vigorous Yang energy. Therefore, water collected at noon on the Dragon Boat Festival is considered "Extremely Yang Water," historically believed to be the best water for warding off misfortune and inviting good luck).
Natural and Healthy:
To ensure you can use our fine incense with confidence, this product is guaranteed to contain only ingredients from our store: 100% natural pure white sage powder from imported US raw materials, over twenty types of 100% natural medicinal herb powders, high-grade natural binder, and noon water. It is absolutely natural, pure, and non-toxic. If anything else is added, it would be my abundant blessings and love!
How to Use:
For Space Purification: Light the Bai Jing Incense and hold it (or place it in an incense burner or censer). Move in a counter-clockwise direction around the space you wish to purify, whether it's a room or a car. Alternatively, simply light the incense and allow the smoke to naturally diffuse and purify the space.
For Personal Purification: Light the Bai Jing Incense and hold it (or place it in an incense burner or censer). Hold it about 15 cm away from your body and move it along the contour of your body (the goal is for the smoke to gently envelop you), including the top of your head, front, back, sides, and the soles of your feet (lift your feet). When moving around the sides, keep your arms extended horizontally, following the body's contour.
How to Use:
These are "wo xiang" (lying incense), so they can be used either lying down or standing up. This form of incense is closest to preserving the original aroma of the raw materials.
How to Light:
Insert into an incense holder (stand) or lay it flat. A bed of ash is needed underneath if lying flat. Use a lighter to ignite the tip of the incense stick (ensure to extinguish the flame after lighting, leaving only an ember to continue burning).
Usage Time:
There are no restrictions. Some say one should not burn incense at night. However, consider that essential oils, perfumes, lotions, and sprays are all fragrant. I personally believe your state of mind is most important. When the mind is free from obstructions, there is no fear, and illusions are dispelled.
Usage Location:
There are no restrictions. Suitable for all rooms and offices.
Amount to Use:
The amount depends on your personal needs. I personally suggest using it as a form of incense appreciation, with purification being a beneficial secondary function.
