On Sale / White Granite and Rusty Brushed Rice Bowl 1

*We are selling this product at a sale price to clear out our inventory. Please take advantage of this opportunity. White granite is made up of small minerals kneaded into the clay, which create a unique speckled pattern. This is a simple and warm clay that gives off the feeling of earthenware. After shaping it into the shape of a tea bowl, a brush pattern is applied using an iron-containing underglaze called "sabi." It is simple and warm, and holds the rice and vegetables grown fresh from the soil, making them look delicious. We aim to create rice bowls like this. The plump, round shape is cute and it is the size of a typical women's rice bowl, although it may feel a little large because the base is wide. It can be used to serve shiny freshly cooked rice, seasoned rice, or even soup. Please enjoy it with seasonal ingredients. I use a small electric kiln and an electric potter's wheel at home to make my pottery, and I do all of the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. Although we cannot mass-produce them, each one has its own unique expression, and you can enjoy the flavor that comes from being made by hand. The item you receive will be the same as the product image. To avoid damaging your table as much as possible, the installation surface will be sanded down before delivery. Using various glazes and clays, I create a wide variety of pottery in different colors and shapes, searching for the best combinations. It is impossible to create two identical pieces, so although they may look similar, each piece is unique. I would be very happy if you could find your favorite. We hope you enjoy the warm and cozy atmosphere created by the ceramic clay and decorative mud as a way to add color to your daily life. --- *Size and weight* Size: Diameter 12cm, Base diameter 4.5cm, Height 5.5cm Weight: 173g --- *Precautions for purchase and use - Due to its nature, pottery is absorbent, and in some cases color may stain the crazing or moisture may seep out.
