Please be aware of this! **> Indigo Dyeing** "Qing" (blue) is taken from indigo, yet surpasses it in brilliance. Polygonum tinctorium, an annual herb of the Polygonaceae family, is primarily used for dyeing, giving indigo dyeing its name. Indigo dyeing is a form of plant dyeing. Through multiple immersions and numerous unpredictable factors, it produces wonderful color gradients and textures. This is nature's own creativity, and it's what makes indigo dyeing so captivating, always offering unexpected surprises. **> Plant Dyeing** Plant dyes are sourced from nature. Different plants yield different colors, imbuing fabrics with pure, soft tones and a subtle herbal fragrance. Upon the first wash, there may be slight fading, but this is akin to colors softened by the passage of time, possessing a natural, tranquil, and lived-in quality. **> Care Instructions** 1. Traditional plant-dyed items have undergone water washing and color fixing treatments. Due to the nature of hand dyeing, color variations and unevenness are inherent, and each product will have slight differences. Please be aware! 2. Plant-dyed items are resistant to dirt and sweat. If soiled, local cleaning is recommended. They can be washed in cold water without soaking. Avoid wringing forcefully. Do not expose to direct sunlight; hang to dry in a cool, ventilated area. 3. You can wear them daily for washing and exercise without needing to remove them. However, as cotton fabric takes time to dry when wet, which can affect the item's lifespan, we advise against wearing them while bathing. **The purer the indigo dye, the less colorfast it will be due to the absence of chemical fixing agents. However, this is an integral part of its charm. The fading that occurs with use is beautifully termed "luò sè" (falling color), and without it, indigo dyeing would lose a unique aspect of its allure.**
