We select 40% of the leather, avoiding all visible grain. The remaining material cost is borne by the customer. ❷ We skillfully utilize the characteristics of the leather grain, making each wallet unique. We aim to utilize over 80% of the leather. If a scratch occurs, gently apply care oil to the surface. ※ Q&A Upon Receiving Your Wallet Q: My wallet doesn't close properly when I receive it. A: The wallet is made of vegetable-tanned leather, which is naturally firm and somewhat stiff. During production, we intentionally leave it slightly open to ensure ease of use when new. If it were made too tightly, it would be difficult to open and use for taking out cards and cash. Therefore, it is initially crafted in a semi-open state. Q: Will it always remain in a semi-open state? A: There's no need to worry about that! Although vegetable-tanned leather is stiff initially, it softens after a few weeks of use. This is what people refer to when they say genuine leather softens and gains luster over time. As you use the wallet, it will mold to the parts you frequently fold and the amount of cards you carry.
