**Plant-dyed, steeped by hand, settled in water, and sun-dried to achieve its natural hue.**
**It is a gift from nature, a creation of skilled hands, holding the memory of time and the warmth of craftsmanship.**
**> Order Information**
As this is a custom-made product crafted entirely by hand, please allow approximately 5 days for completion. Returns and exchanges are not possible, so please confirm your willingness to wait and your acceptance of handmade characteristics before placing your order.
Due to the nature of fabric cutting, each piece will have unique pattern details and will be shipped randomly.
**> Indigo Dyeing**
"Qing" is extracted from indigo, yet it surpasses indigo itself.
Polygonum tinctorium, an annual herb of the Polygonaceae family, is primarily used for dyeing, hence the name "indigo dyeing."
Indigo dyeing is a form of plant dyeing. Through multiple immersions and numerous unpredictable processes,
it yields fascinating color gradients and textures. This is the creative power of nature itself,
and it's what makes indigo dyeing so captivating, always offering unexpected surprises.
**> Plant Dyeing**
Plant dyes are derived from nature. Different herbs and plants produce different colors, lending fabrics a pure, soft luster and a subtle herbal fragrance.
While slight fading may occur after the initial wash, it is akin to colors softened by the passage of time, possessing a natural, tranquil, and lived-in quality.
**> Care Instructions**
1. Traditional plant-dyed items have undergone water washing and color fixing treatments.
Due to the handmade dyeing process, color variations are irregular and uneven. Each product will have slight differences; please be aware!
2. Plant-dyed items are resistant to dirt and sweat. If soiled, local cleaning is recommended.
They can also be washed in cold water without soaking. Avoid vigorous wringing. Do not expose to direct sunlight; hang to dry in a cool, ventilated area.
3. You can wear them for daily activities and light exercise without removal.
However, as cotton fabric takes time to dry when wet, which can affect its lifespan, wearing them while bathing is not recommended.
**The purer the indigo dye, the less colorfast it will be due to the absence of chemical fixing agents. However, this is an indispensable aspect. The fading that occurs after use is beautifully termed "luò sè" (falling color). Without this fading, indigo dye would lose its unique charm.**
