Bracelet with Ancient Agate, Mizoram Carnelian, Jet and Indigo Blue Beads, Old Orissa Brass and Chin Silver

A bracelet crafted by connecting ancient agate, Mizoram carnelian, jet and indigo blue beads, and old Orissa brass & Chin silver. The orange beads are Mizoram carnelian, heirlooms from the Mizoram state in eastern India, dating back to around the 18th century. These carnelians possess a captivating charm with their deep hues and the patina of age, including scratches and luster. (Mizoram Carnelian size: 0.7cm width, 0.8cm diameter) We've adorned the bracelet with ancient agate featuring white and clear stripes. These beads were excavated from the Indus River basin, including regions like Pakistan and India, and are approximately 2000 years old. They are also lustrous and beautiful. The indigo blue beads are antique beads known as Indo-Pacific beads. The origins of Indo-Pacific beads are said to date back to the 2nd century BC. These particular beads are excavated items from Indonesia, dating back to around the 10th century – over 1000 years old! The jet-black beads are antique Venetian beads from the 19th-20th century. Each bead has a unique shape and size, adding to their character. Near the clasp, a single deep red White Heart bead has been added. They are called White Hearts because the center (heart) is white. These are Venetian beads from the 19th-20th century. The plump silver beads are exceptionally rare old Chin silver, heirlooms from around the 18th-19th century, originating from Burma. These were used by Chin women in necklaces and other adornments, showing unique wear and endearing marks. Their substantial feel and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though modern silver can also be stylish...). These antique beads have seen a significant price increase in recent years. The golden beads are old Orissa brass, rare and old beads from the Orissa state of India. The charm on the clasp is also an old brass component from India. The slightly bent clasp and the beads on the ring are Karen silver. The small Karen silver beads on the clasp are individually stamped! It's mind-boggling to think that each one is hand-stamped... ◇ Karen Silver ◇ This silver is crafted by the mountain ethnic group living in Thailand and Burma. Each piece is handmade, and the silver is said to have a very high purity. Connected with waxed cord, the bracelet may feel slightly stiff at first but will become supple with wear.
