A soft, double-layered dress. We created this long-sleeved version in a black x pink-white fabric, allowing it to be worn across many seasons. It features a V-neckline both front and back, with a high-waisted cut. The back is adorned with a row of shell buttons. The sleeves are three-quarter length, and the hem flares out, creating a gently flowing silhouette. The generous cut makes it ideal for layering; we recommend pairing it with a high-neck knit underneath during colder months. A delicate pink-tinged white fabric is stamped with a floral pattern in gold and matte gold. The hem includes a slit. [Care Instructions] Machine washable. Please place the fabric inside a laundry net, turn it inside out, and use a delicate wash cycle. Use detergents free of bleach or similar agents. The block print itself requires no special care and can be handled as usual. ◆About Block Printing◆ This dress features patterns meticulously hand-carved onto fabric using the block printing technique. Block printing is a rare method today due to the immense time and effort it requires. First, the pattern is hand-carved, one piece at a time. Carving a single block can take anywhere from a week to a month of patient work. However, the charm of this manual process lies in the freedom to alter the combination of blocks and colors, allowing for the creation of an infinite variety of patterns. Furthermore, the subtle imperfections, such as slight fading or misalignment that occur during the manual stamping process, lend a unique character distinct from uniform, industrially produced items. While I have experience with silk screen printing, I now focus solely on block printing for my creations. The inks used are environmentally friendly water-based inks. The original patterns of "isica" are all imbued with such prayers. Each one is crafted with heartfelt care.
