Glazed Earrings

I am a ceramic artist. Each pair of earrings is personally shaped and glazed by me, then fired twice at a high temperature of 1230 degrees. These earrings are a microcosm of my years of creation, more than just an object, they encompass techniques, kiln firing, past accumulations, and present expression. The clay comes from the Taiwanese earth, the glazes are a product of the land. In this city, they are a ritual that connects us to the soil. Freely pairing them outside of convention, they remind us that we all still possess a childlike heart.
