This is called Gold Filled, a layer of gold that is crimped to the brass with high heat and pressure, the gold content is guaranteed to at least 1/20th weight of the total piece unlike thin regular brass with gold plated jewelry. < WHAT IS THE SHELL PEARL? > The “ Shell Pearl ” is a kind of imitation paerls from JAPAN.
