What is the wood-firing process?** American, Japanese, and Miaoli clays are mixed in different proportions. The creation process involves pure hand-pinching (not a potter's wheel) to slowly form the shape. After basic forming, the body lines are refined, and then polished to complete the greenware. Once placed in the kiln, the wood-firing process using natural longan and acacia wood lasts for five days and four nights continuously. The temperature reaches over 1200 degrees Celsius. During this time, natural ash deposits adhere to the works, forming a unique ash glaze. Simultaneously, the kiln's flame patterns flow among the pieces, creating beautiful orange-red or blue-purple flame marks. After five days and four nights of ash and flame interplay, a week of cooling is required before a piece achieves its beautiful form! What should guests be aware of?** Product colors may vary slightly due to photography lighting. As the pieces are purely handmade, they will bear the marks of the crafting process. Minor variations may also occur during the firing process, such as slight imperfections in the rim or small production scratches; these are normal and do not affect usability.
