Despite Shōrōdō's considerable renown both in Japan and internationally, they maintain only nine directly managed stores across Japan, eschewing franchises to ensure the highest quality of products and services. For their overseas locations, they rigorously vet each distributor's business philosophy and attitude, strictly limiting the number of official distributors to preserve their century-old reputation. While incense has no expiration date, to ensure enthusiasts in Taiwan can enjoy the freshest incense, My Thinking Creative places orders every two months through a small-batch system. These are shipped directly from their Kyoto headquarters to Taipei, guaranteeing the optimal quality of the incense. Furthermore, thanks to the cooperative relationship and mutual trust with the head office, My Thinking Creative is one of the few distributors authorized to sell Shōrōdō's overseas limited edition incense and Japan-exclusive products.
