These are not rust and do not affect safety or usage. - This product is made using safe manufacturing methods. Edible oil is used as a lubricant for pressing, and no pickling is used. Supplementary Notes: - Marks from high-temperature firing will gradually fade or disappear with frequent use. - Sand holes and minor scratches are normal and unavoidable during the manufacturing process. - Water stains or residue after washing are characteristic of the metal and are normal. 【Cleaning and Characteristics】 1. For the first wash, use a standard neutral detergent several times. Alternatively, wipe with a paper towel dipped in edible oil to easily remove residual grey titanium powder from the manufacturing process, then wash with neutral detergent. Using edible oil for pressing without pickling means residual grey titanium powder is inevitable. This is a non-toxic pure titanium safe process; you can scrub it with confidence. 2. If burnt or stained, use the coarser side of a sponge or a soft steel brush to scrub gently. 3. If colored titanium surfaces are scrubbed off or reveal the original metal color, it is not a coating. Pure titanium is safe and non-toxic, containing no heavy metals; it is a safe utensil to scrub. 4. Do not soak in reducing acid series cleaners (like stain remover powder or hydrogen peroxide) or sodium percarbonate, as this will strip the color and luster of the titanium, which cannot be restored. 【Characteristic Explanations】 1. Pure titanium is sensitive to temperature and stress release. Lunch boxes, food containers, and pots may develop food stains, large blue-purple patches after initial boiling, or brown patches after washing (even without heating). This is not rust (pure titanium does not rust) but a metal characteristic or a result of our pre-firing process. It does not affect safe use and will fade or disappear over time. 2. Square-shaped utensils are more prone to stress release, leading to more dramatic color changes and brown patches. 3. Ovens above 250°C or direct gas flame may cause blue-purple color changes. These colors will not disappear but do not affect safe use. 4. Large flat surfaces may warp if exposed to direct gas flame. 5. Pure titanium easily retains water spots; this is a characteristic of the metal. If this bothers you, dry immediately after washing to prevent water spots. 【Appliances】 Single-layer titanium utensils can be heated; double-layer utensils cannot. Dish dryer: Suitable. If oily residues like olive oil are not washed off, blue-purple powder may appear during drying; this is dried oil and will disappear once cleaned. Dishwasher: Suitable. Some detergents containing sodium percarbonate may leave water spots, which do not affect safety. Gas stove: Can be used on direct flame, but avoid empty burning; use low to medium heat. Rice cooker, air fryer, ceramic heater, electric stove: Suitable. Oven: Suitable. Color changes due to high heat are physical characteristics of titanium and remain safe to use. Microwave: Not suitable (inefficient). Induction stove: Not suitable (almost no magnetic conductivity).
