Brass Care Instructions: Brass has always been a highly popular jewelry material, known for its affordability and resistance to fading. However, like silver, brass is prone to oxidation. Exposure to rain, sweat, and air can deepen its color. While some appreciate this natural patina, here are some tips to maintain its original luster: ♦ Avoid contact with water. ♦ Store in a resealable bag when not being worn. If the luster fades, a few simple methods can help restore your item's original brilliance. Please note that while color can be restored, deep scratches may not regain their shine (the matte, antique bronze look of vintage pieces is also beautiful!). ♦ Use a toothbrush with a small amount of foaming toothpaste or tooth powder and brush gently, as if brushing your teeth, to restore brass's shine. Be sure to dry thoroughly afterward. ♦ Use a silver polishing cloth for a quick shine (not suitable for brushed surfaces). ♦ Dilute lemon juice, immerse the brass jewelry for about 5 minutes, and it will quickly regain its luster (not suitable for natural beads sensitive to acid, such as pearls).
