Beyond the minimalist, earthy tones inside, the exterior features a unique raw mineral slip coating technique. Essentially, we finely grind minerals and clay until they can be used directly as a glaze, sprayed onto the ceramic surface. Think of it as a 'slip-on-slip' application, creating a richer variety of textures and forms. → Product Introduction In the design of the "Fang Yun Cup," Zi Ran You Wen Chuang blends traditional and modern elements. The size is compatible with our Maze filter cup, offering a matching set option. The straight, cylindrical body expresses a sleek and straightforward aesthetic. Its large, flat surface is ideal for showcasing the distinct characteristics of various glazes, highlighting the unique qualities of each finish. The flared rim, a classic feature in traditional teaware, has been a design element since ancient times. Beyond its aesthetic appeal, the flared rim enhances functionality for comfortable sipping. This outward-sloping rim perfectly contours to the lips, allowing you to fully appreciate the sensation of the beverage as it glides into your mouth. The square handle is also a traditional design. We've adapted the classic square handle with a flat top and a slanted bottom, offering a distinct visual profile. The square ear-shaped handle is also comfortable to grip. Our Fang Yun cup, with a moderate capacity of 240ml, is highly versatile for brewing tea or drip coffee bags. A thoughtful detail is the angled line on the inner wall, approximately at the 200ml mark, providing an easy visual cue for capacity, making it more intuitive to use. This design, with its large, flat vertical surface on the cup wall, allows the artisan to experiment more freely with glazes.
