Autumn Moon Issue 50 I LOVE CLOTHES 海網袋套組 - หนังสือซีน - กระดาษ

รายละเอียดสินค้า

Kyōichi Tsuzuki, author of *The Magazine Outskirts* and a renowned figure in Japanese magazines, once said: "If I were to go somewhere no one has been, of course I couldn't plan it or foresee the situation. It is precisely because of this that I can see things I've never seen before, and my journey is one that emulates no one." The title of this article is: "It Can Only Be Done By Not Knowing." This journey has brought us to the 50th issue of the magazine. On the eve of its launch, the editorial team gathered in a living room, each bringing out paper and pens to brainstorm 50 potential topics for *Autumn Moon*: the Kōhaku Uta Gassen, Showa-era history, the soul of ramen, clever tips from Japanese housewives... a sprawling list of desires to explore Japan. Along the way, we've brought some of these ideas to life and set aside others that were too ambitious. Rather than following a set path, it feels as though we've journeyed with the "God of Magazines," taking 10 years to reach this shore. *Autumn Moon* has a rather willful spirit. We avoid overly discussed topics, mainstream viewpoints, and content that everyone expects to see, which goes against the golden rule of magazine sales. However, it is this very character that has ensured that no topic has ever been repeated in our 50 issues. While we may not create a dazzling spectacle in the market, our magazine has endured on the bookshelves of many Japanese culture enthusiasts. We aim to explore not what is trending now, but what captures your fascination and admiration during a certain period of your life. "Obsession with what you love" is the mantra we've discovered within Japanese culture—an intense fascination that leads to a desire for complete understanding, ultimately shaping oneself. The Taoist concept of wabi-sabi finds release in the Japanese spirit, American jazz finds a new soul in the Japanese music scene, and American-style fusion creates world-changing fashion trends in Japanese street style. If we were to speak of the spirit of Japan over 50 issues, perhaps this synthesis would be the subtle yet profound essence of "outfit." It doesn't refer to fashion trends, but rather the sense of ease projected before stepping out each day—a magical embrace of the spiritual symbols, musical tastes, and interests that one cherishes. With the bold aspiration, "When it comes to dressing, that must be him!" we spent over a year coordinating and arranging. Finally, at the perfect moment, we succeeded in photographing Masaki Suda, an actor and singer. His personal style record, *An Outfit History*, captures the fashion sense of both a performer and a clothing enthusiast. Masaki Suda's presence establishes a unique signature; his acting and music creation share an unconventional quality. By flipping through the history of his casual wear and stage costumes, one gradually understands how he resonates with the world: by sincerely sharing everything he loves, integrated into his clothing, the emotions of his performances, and the lyrics of his music. Ultimately, he is not a fleeting idol, but more of a warm artist. Perhaps this is what *Autumn Moon* is. In an exploration of fashion, we boldly interview buyers and brand directors who influence Japanese pop culture, discussing their gentle and everyday approach to dressing. You'll discover that the pinnacle of fashion stems from inner strength, the way one tells a story, and the ability to find an outfit that looks good even at 70, living life with ease. "Behind the scenes"—these are the most precious glimpses from the production set. *Autumn Moon*, which has never featured celebrities on its cover, does not cater to anyone. When we decide to feature someone, it must be the most fitting person. Pushing open the studio door in Omotesando, Masaki Suda unpacks the suitcase he prepared the night before for this vintage-themed photoshoot. He brought private clothing, a cherished antique watch, and a heartfelt desire to create and shoot with the Taiwanese team. This sentiment is a gift from the 50th issue's editors to themselves and to the readers. We will continue to move forward in this way for the next 50 issues.
