**This is a one-of-a-kind piece, awaiting its sweet and stylish owner^^**
**Morganite**
Morganite belongs to the Beryl family. It gets its pink color from manganese. It is named after Joan Pierpont Morgan, an American banker and gem collector.
Morganite has a very elegant color, mostly appearing in soft pink or orangey-pink hues. Morganite with blue or green tones is what people commonly know as "Aquamarine."
Aquamarine is named for its clear blue-green color, reminiscent of the ocean.
Legend has it that mermaids lived in the deep blue sea, wearing Aquamarine as jewelry. They would let the gems absorb sunlight to gain mystical powers for self-protection, which is why Aquamarine is also called "Mermaid Stone."
For centuries, sailors traversing the waves have used Aquamarine to pray for the sea god's protection during their voyages. Thus, Aquamarine is revered as the "Stone of the Brave," symbolizing composure, courage, and wisdom.
**Beryl**
The Beryl family is a star player in the world of colored gemstones. Known for its hardness, high transparency, and diverse, magnificent colors, it is a perennial favorite in the gem world.
Beryl exhibits different colors depending on the trace elements present, resulting in various gemstone varieties:
1. When containing chromium ions, it appears emerald green, which is the highly prized **Emerald**.
2. When containing iron ions, it appears sky blue or sea-blue, known as **Aquamarine**.
3. When containing iron ions, it appears golden yellow or pale lemon yellow, called **Heliodor**.
4. When containing manganese ions, it appears pink, rose, or peach, known as **Morganite**.
**Cloisonné (Filigree Enamel, Burned Blue)**
Cloisonné, scientifically known as copper-champlevé enamel, originated in the ancient Near East. As early as the 19th century BC, ancient Egyptian pharaohs used this technique to create necklaces, often combined with gemstone inlay. The Eastern Roman Empire later elevated this craft to great heights. It was introduced to China during the Yuan Dynasty and reached its peak of brilliance during the Jingtai period of the Ming Dynasty, hence its name "Jingtai Blue."
Exquisite cloisonné products boast lustrous and vibrant colors, a thick and solid base, neat and uniform filigree, and brilliant gilding. They embody the warmth of jade, the radiance of jewels, and the delicacy of porcelain. Therefore, the cloisonné craft is intricate and costly.
**Huiwen (Meander Pattern)**
"Huiwen" is one of China's quintessential and ancient geometric patterns, representing a core aesthetic concept in traditional Chinese decorative art.
The Huiwen pattern flows continuously, symbolizing "unending wealth" and eternal prosperity, with continuously rolling fortunes.
Huiwen designs are rich and varied, incorporating both square and round elements, with diverse transformations. From the single-unit square Huiwen of the Shang and Zhou dynasties, to the simplified combined forms of the Spring and Autumn period, to the S-shaped and continuous-line patterns of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
Each period's "Huiwen" incorporates aspects of the social culture of its time, resulting in flexible and elegant designs with profound meanings.
**Ruyi (As You Wish Scepter)**
The words "Ruyi" are straightforward, meaning "as one wishes," signifying the fulfillment of desires.
The Ruyi scepter is typically formed by a "cloud pattern or lingzhi mushroom" at the top connected to a long handle. Sometimes, only the shape of a lingzhi mushroom or cloud is used as a representation.
The Qing Dynasty text "Shiwu Yiming Lu" records that "Ruyi was an ancient scratching tool," meaning it was used as a back scratcher (similar to a modern "back scratcher").
Furthermore, "Ruyi" was also used by ancient officials in court to record notes when presenting matters to the emperor (also known as "Hu" or "Shouban"). In warfare, it was used as a baton to command troops. Therefore, Ruyi symbolizes wisdom, power, and auspiciousness.
We often see various Bodhisattvas holding Ruyi scepters:
"Guanyin of the Ruyi" holds a Ruyi, symbolizing her ability to perceive all, rescue from danger, avert misfortune, ensure everything goes as wished, and bring peace of mind.
"Manjushri Bodhisattva" is the Bodhisattva symbolizing wisdom. He holds different implements, each with a specific meaning: holding a sword signifies cutting through afflictions; holding a blue lotus symbolizes pure wisdom untainted by the world; holding a Ruyi represents wisdom and auspiciousness. Thus, Ruyi also signifies wisdom.

**◈ About Use and Care**
1. Natural gemstones possess natural luster and unique textures (minor black spots, internal lines, ice cracks, cloudiness, mineral inclusions, asymmetry, etc.). By wearing them frequently, you can observe subtle color changes in natural gemstones, which often become more translucent and captivating – this is also the best way to care for them.
Natural organic gemstones (such as coral, amber, pearls, and giant clams) have low hardness and are sensitive to acids and alkalis. When dirty, do not use detergents. Clean with plain water and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also use a soft brush with a small amount of mineral oil (like baby oil) for gentle polishing and care.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan. Avoid external damage or strong acids and alkalis that can cause fading.
3. Fabric materials (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable to the touch and have a long lifespan. Avoid high temperatures, external damage, or strong acids and alkalis that can cause fading.
4. For any jewelry, when dirty, wipe with a soft cloth dampened with water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for suitable materials. After washing, dry promptly.
5. When jewelry is removed, store it properly in packaging to minimize exposure to air, slow down oxidation and discoloration, and avoid overlapping or heavy pressure.
