Leather is a natural material, and each piece is hand-cut and stitched. Therefore, slight variations in color, texture, and dimensions are to be expected, and the actual product should prevail. Vegetable-tanned leather is tanned using plant-based tannins, making it an environmentally friendly choice for both production and use. Its characteristic feature is the preservation of natural leather grain. The grain pattern varies across the same hide, and it may also bear marks from insect bites or minor scratches sustained by the cattle. These are sometimes intentionally incorporated into the design as unique features of the leather good. As time passes and with use, the surface color will deepen, developing a richer patina and character.
