📖【Introduction to Don Quixote's Story】
The classic ballet "Don Quixote" is based on Cervantes' novel of the same name. The heroines Kitri and Basilio love each other deeply, but Kitri's dad insists on marrying her to a middle-aged rich man Gamache, so they start to flee with the help of friends.
At the other end of the story, Don Quixote mistakenly thought Kitri was his dream lover Dulcinea, so he tried to destroy the windmill monster that might hurt Kitri. After the end of the fierce battle, Don Quixote fell tired and fell asleep. In his sleep, Kitri and his dream lover Dulcinea actually Is the same person.
Kitri and Basilio were finally found by Lorenzo. Basilio pretended to commit suicide in order to prevent Kitri from marrying Gamache.
Don Quixote assisted Kitri to persuade Lorenzo to let her and Basilio's "nether marriage", under the helplessness, Lorenzo had to agree, but did not expect Basilio to "rebirth" at this time!
