Grossmeisterskie Soviet weighted big chess set 1980s Grandmaster made in USSR

Knights and finials made of plastic. The chessboard was made at the Lviv furniture factory "Karpaty", Lviv, Ukrainian SSR. Board size: 45x45 cm. King is 11 cm. Bishop is 8 cm. Pawn is 5.7 cm. Weight of the chess set is 1.93 kg. Damages: shabby surface of the board, finial of the black king is slightly banked. Chess was a very popular game in the Soviet Union. Children and adults were playing chess regularly, playing at home, on the streets, in the clubs.
