It has many tips, so it is recommended for those who want to make tea with a fine texture. The standard number of bristles on a chasen is around 70, but a 100-bristle set has around 81-95 bristles. The more bristles there are, the finer the foam you can make, making it easier to use even for beginners. Before use, soak the chasen in hot water to let it familiarize yourself and use it after the bristles have opened. It helps bring out the mellowness inside the tea and whip the matcha powder into a foamy foam.
