Omoide no Hana Pierced Earrings / Earrings

These Mino Washi paper accessories feature a simple flower shape reminiscent of gerberas or marguerites. We aimed for a small, easy-to-wear design for everyday use. We named them "Omoide no Hana" (Flowers of Memory), inspired by the small white flowers we might have noticed on the roadside, evoking blossoms that quietly bloomed in everyone's memories. To ensure they stand out even in their small size, the petals are hand-colored white, with the texture of washi paper preserved for a matte finish. The back, which touches the skin, is finished with a thicker layer of resin for a smooth, gentle feel. We offer three types of findings, including resin earring findings (for earrings only), suitable for those with metal allergies. 《About the Materials》 The flowers are crafted from Mino Washi paper (machine-made washi) produced in Gifu Prefecture. Mino Washi is made by carefully bleaching Kozo (mulberry bark), the raw material for washi, over time using ample water from the clear Nagara River in Gifu. Mino Washi is created with the blessings of Gifu. Please understand this in advance. These variations are not considered defects or flaws. Applying excessive force may cause cracks or breakage. Please handle with care. Additionally, do not submerge these accessories in water for extended periods or leave them wet. If they become wet, gently pat them dry with tissue paper or a soft cloth and allow them to air dry completely. When not being worn, please clean the findings, avoid high humidity and heat, and store them in a well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight. Individual sensitivities to metal allergies may vary.
