We cherish this characteristic. As the fabric is woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, occasional "weaving flaws" may appear, which can look like minor "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of antique machinery, we make every effort to minimize their appearance through rigorous factory inspections and careful fabric cutting. If found, they are placed in less conspicuous areas. However, due to the nature of the machinery, it's impossible to eliminate them entirely.
