**Gobi Agate**
Gobi Agate originates from the Gobi Desert in the Alxa League region of Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang, China, hence its names: Gobi Stone, Gobi Agate, Alxa Agate, Alxa Colored Jade, and Datan Agate. Its exquisite patterns and rich colors have made it a new favorite in the market. Its scarcity and limited production give it significant potential for appreciation and artistic value.
Gobi Agate has a hardness of approximately 6.5 to 7. It formed approximately 8 to 300 million years ago as a product of submarine volcanic eruptions and rapid cooling. Through eons of seawater erosion, geological changes, weathering, and exposure to extreme temperatures, it has developed a unique, natural, and robust character. It is a treasure of the desert, embodying the essence of heaven and earth, the radiance of the sun and moon, and the vastness of the Gobi Desert, exuding a bold and magnificent beauty.
Gobi Agate is generally lustrous. When polished, its weathered surface becomes fine, smooth, delicate, and translucent, with a dazzling array of colors and numerous varieties. Currently, well-known types in the market include:
1. Silver Root: Features numerous small dots, round spots, or eye-like patterns, hence its別名 "Silver Root Flower Dots" or "Eye Stone."
2. Banded: Simple colors with clear bands, also known as "Onyx," "Striped Agate," or "Silk Agate."
3. Sugar Heart: The semi-transparent to transparent agate rind reveals a deeper colored "core."
4. Milk Shake: Diverse and soft tones, with an oil painting-like feel, named for its resemblance to milk shake.
5. Ice Pattern: Diverse colors with jade-like patterns, also called "Enchanting Flower," "Cracked Pattern," or "Fissured Agate."
6. Water Gall: Formed by residual liquid in the core during agate formation.
**Agate**
Agate (Agate), also known as "Jade," is primarily composed of silica from volcanic eruptions. It is a relatively abundant gemstone in the Earth's crust, making it one of the oldest gemstones in history.
After volcanic eruptions, silica melt in nature entered the pores of volcanic lava or fissures in other rocks, depositing layer by layer, forming opaque, semi-transparent, to transparent colors. This creates what is known as "Banded Agate" (finely layered ones are even called "Silk Agate"). Those with dot-like distributions resemble snowflakes and are commonly known as "Cherry Blossom Agate."
Agate is composed of various colors (mineral colors) and may form in concentric circles, wavy patterns, layers, or parallel bands, hence the saying, "A thousand types of agate, ten thousand types of jade."
Agate symbolizes stable energy, which can calm emotions, soothe anxiety, enhance vitality and energy, strengthen personal aura and magnetic field, attract positive energy and good luck, improve fortune, and thereby enhance creativity and productivity, leading to an abundance of inspiration during the creative process.
Due to its wide color spectrum, agate corresponds to the seven chakras of the human body, making it a precious and beautiful gem with both historical value and functionality.
**Eye Pattern**
Natural gemstone patterns can be divided into two types: naturally formed (due to different mineral inclusions within the natural gemstone, revealed after polishing) and artificially created (drawn or fired). They are named after their appearance, such as mountain shapes, water waves, cloud patterns, dragon patterns, precious bottles, lotus flowers, tiger patterns, tooth patterns, eye patterns, lines, etc., and are imbued with different meanings.
Legend has it that gemstones with eye patterns are like a spiritual third eye, capable of inspiring wisdom and warding off evil spirits.
**Peace Buckle**
Since the Shang and Zhou dynasties, Chinese people have attached buttons to the clothes of newborns and young children to pray for their safe and healthy growth. Later, buttons evolved into various materials, but they retained the meaning of wishing for peace, hence they gradually became known as "Peace Buckles."
In terms of shape, the Peace Buckle has an inner and outer circle. The outer circle symbolizes the vastness of heaven and earth, while the inner circle symbolizes the peace and tranquility of our hearts, carrying the full hope of wearing peace and happiness.
Furthermore, the Peace Buckle ornament resembles the shape of an ancient coin, so the Peace Buckle is sometimes called an ancient coin, and ancient coins are also sometimes called Peace Buckles.

**◈ On Usage and Collection**
1. Natural gemstones possess natural luster and unique textures (small black spots, stone patterns, ice cracks, cloudiness, mineral deficiencies, asymmetry, and other natural details). By wearing them frequently, you can observe subtle color changes in the natural gemstones, which will typically become more translucent and captivating. This is also the best method of maintenance.
Natural organic gemstones (such as coral, amber, pearls, and tridacna) have low hardness and are not resistant to acids and alkalis. When encountering dirt, do not use cleaning agents. Simply rinse with clean water and wipe with a soft cloth. You can also use a soft brush dipped in a small amount of mineral oil (such as baby oil) for gentle care.
2. Metal jewelry has a long lifespan, but avoid external damage or strong acids and alkalis that can cause fading.
3. Fabric materials (ribbons, cotton, gauze) are soft and comfortable to the touch and have a long lifespan, but avoid high temperatures, external damage, or strong acids and alkalis that can cause fading.
4. For jewelry of any material, when encountering dirt, it is advisable to wipe it with a soft cloth dipped in clean water as appropriate, or use a suitable amount of neutral detergent for suitable materials. After washing, keep it dry as soon as possible.
5. When jewelry is removed, it should be properly packaged and stored to minimize exposure to excess air and slow down oxidation and discoloration. Avoid stacking or pressing.
