Necklace with Assorted Green Roman Glass, Antique Bohemian Beads, Ethnic Metal, Tibetan Coral, Carnelian, and Amber

This necklace is crafted by connecting an array of beads, including assorted green Roman glass, antique Bohemian beads, ethnic metal pieces, Tibetan coral, carnelian, and amber. The pale green beads are Roman glass, dating back to the Roman Empire (27 BCE – 395 CE). The tubular pieces, originally part of bangles, have a slight curve. As they are antique, minor chips may be present, but they do not affect everyday wear. Bird-shaped and abacus-shaped beads are also made from Roman glass. The clear, oval beads are early 20th-century Bohemian beads. While they show signs of age, this only adds to their incredible character. (Bohemian bead size: 1.2cm wide, 0.7cm high) The small, granular beads are brass beads made by the Benin people of Africa. The lattice-patterned metal beads are likely old parts from Pakistan. The plump, muted silver-colored metal parts are old pieces from Afghanistan. The reddish-orange, slightly elongated abacus-shaped beads are jade. The flattened, deep salmon-orange beads are coral from Tibet. The pale orange beads are antique beads from Vanchia. The lustrous, elongated, rugby-ball-shaped beads are amber. The orange beads among the clear Bohemian beads are Mizoram carnelian, believed to be heirlooms from around the 18th century, originating from the Mizoram state in eastern India.
