"The Hateful Eight" Series Introduction | Introduce Alarein, in mid-March 2018, drew inspiration from the spirit of various characters during the Western frontier era. Eight distinct individuals, surviving in that grand, pioneering age, their intertwined complexities and emotional entanglements, further narrating the stories of obsession within each person's heart amidst that harsh environment, presenting this "Hateful Eight" worldview! Design Philosophy | Inspiration A silver pendant combining two plants that grow robustly and beautifully in the desert: "Desert Rose" and "Cactus." The Desert Rose is beautiful, yet it thrives in harsh conditions. When necessary, it can even secrete venom; in excessively hostile environments, it may even choose to end its own life. The Cactus is long-lived, seemingly resilient, yet it can wither quickly under certain conditions... The representative character inspired by these traits is the "Saloon Madam." In the unforgiving Western landscape, the ability to "cope" is a formidable challenge. In a small town on the desolate frontier, there stands a saloon, providing essential information to the various travelers passing through. Many have benefited from it, while others have tried to take advantage, only to be met with resistance. This is because the madam who runs the saloon is famously tough! And quite beautiful. As the madam, her formidable nature is a source of dread for the saloon girls and bartenders. Yet, to the outside world, she is the strongest shield of the establishment! Such a personality has made her quite renowned in the harsh environment. Troubles seem to find her constantly. She could leave, but she steadfastly refuses to abandon this small town. She survives the Western wilderness with her resilience. It is said that she and her former lover planted a multitude of cacti in the saloon's backyard. She is always waiting for him to return from his travels. The design features layered desert flower buds as the pendant's central motif, while the cactus is interpreted in a manner akin to armor. It symbolizes a woman's beauty and strength.
