He has been entirely designed and hand crafted by myself in a smoke free house. Many hours of patient work have gone into the conception and creation of this puppy. MEASURES: 23 inches (about 58 cm) from nose tip to rear end. MATERIALS: Luxury faux fur. Polyfil for the stuffing, with an addition of enclosed plastic pellets for added weight. Glass eyes. Head, paw pads and claws are made with lightweight polymer clay and Apoxie clay. FEATURES: Scotty has a lightweight clay sculpted head on which fur has been firmly attached. The head has been scissor sculpted and hand painted to render a realistic Sheltie face. His eyes are transparent glass cabochons that I hand painted in tones of black and dark brown. Paw pads have been sculpted from clay and layer painted, for a very realistic effect. The claws are individually hand modeled and firmly attached to the paws. The body fur has been airbrushed. JOINTING and POSING: Scotty’s body has been designed with no joints. All four limbs are a whole with the body. He has an internal padded wire frame that goes from head to back, and from there to all four legs. Tail and ears are also wired. Thanks to these features Scotty can be arranged in many different and realistic positions. His paws, ears and tail can be delicately curved to give them a natural pose. All my creations come to you with a specially embroidered felt birth certificate. Scotty is a collector item not suitable for children.
