Spring-colored flower vase

Fine-grained clay with a rustic texture and color of off-white. After shaping it into a plump, round vase, a brush stroke pattern was applied using colorful decorative clay. It is inspired by the wind blowing through a warm spring garden, and the colors change depending on the angle, allowing you to enjoy a variety of different views. I have an electric potter's wheel and a small electric furnace at home, and I do all the processes by hand, from kneading the clay to shaping, carving, drying, bisque firing, glazing, and final firing. We aimed to create a vase that has the rustic and calm atmosphere typical of pottery, as well as a cute, rounded design and a clean appearance that you can enjoy. Since ceramics are naturally water-absorbent, we will apply a waterproofing agent to prevent water leakage. We have confirmed that using this waterproofing agent will prevent water seepage for approximately 40 hours, but there is a possibility that a small amount of evaporated water may come out from the bottom, making the item feel a little damp. If this bothers you, you can place a cloth pad underneath to ensure safe use. Using various glazes and clays, I create a wide variety of pottery in a variety of colors and shapes, searching for the best combinations. It is impossible to create two identical pieces, so although they may look similar, each piece is unique. I would be very happy if you could find your favorite.
