Long Necklace with Naga Antique Beads, Shan Carnelian, and Old Chin Silver, Turquoise Clasp

This is a long necklace crafted by linking antique beads from the Naga tribe, Carnelian from the Shan people, and old Chin silver. The beads, in shades of green, striped patterns, and blue, are antique Venetian beads that found their way to the Naga people in India. These beads have been worn as personal adornments, such as necklaces, for many years. The beautifully worn texture of the beads is incredibly charming! You can enjoy their diverse expressions, with their air bubbles, holes, and the way they've worn at an angle. (Bead size: 3-4.5mm) The beads, with their captivating beautiful stripes, are Carnelian used by the Shan people (Myanmar). While the exact era is unknown, they are vintage pieces over 50 years old. Despite their small size, these beads are mesmerizing with their intricate striped patterns. (Vintage Carnelian size: 1cm length, 0.6cm diameter) The faceted silver beads are exceptionally rare old Chin silver, believed to be heirlooms from around the 18th-19th century. These were brought from Burma. They were used by Chin women in necklaces and other adornments, showing a unique wear and beloved imperfections. Their substantial weight and presence are incomparable to modern silver (though modern pieces can also be stylish...). These antique beads have become increasingly valuable in recent years. The golden beads are old Orissa brass, old and rare beads from the state of Orissa in India. The charms near the clasp are also old brass from India. The clasp is made of turquoise. (Turquoise size: 1.2cm diameter) Small, amber-colored White Hearts beads are incorporated into the ring part of the clasp. Each small Karen silver bead on the clasp is individually stamped! Each piece is handmade, and it is said to have a very high purity. Connected with waxed cord, it may feel a bit stiff at first but will become supple with wear.
