We value its relaxed, natural texture, which allows you to enjoy its "aging" rather than "deterioration." Because it's woven on shuttle looms over 100 years old in Kurashiki, there are inevitably small "weaving imperfections" that may initially appear as "frays." While these are unavoidable with the use of old machinery, we make every effort to minimize them through thorough factory inspections and careful fabric cutting, using them in less visible areas when found. However, due to the nature of the machinery, complete elimination is not possible.
