Some things,
are simply born perfect.
During the firing process,
the most beautiful glaze beads were left behind.
Dripping from the lowest part of the piece,
I call them "Remnant Pearls."
They can transform into another form of beauty,
becoming necklaces,
bracelets,
rings, and earrings.
I named this series of works "Remnant Pearls,"
referring to the most beautiful glaze beads left in the kiln.
Irreplicable,
unrepeatable,
and not customizable,
these are the Remnant Pearls.

- As a ceramic artist, each pair of earrings is personally shaped and glazed by me, then fired twice at a high temperature of 1230 degrees Celsius. These earrings are a microcosm of my years of creative exploration, more than just an object, they embody technique, the kiln's transformation, accumulated experience, and present-day expression.
