Therefore, the product may have a slight oily scent upon arrival. If this is a concern, placing it in a well-ventilated area for a few days will allow the scent to dissipate (you can also request no wood oil coating).__ **Taiwanese Cypress** 1. The material possesses exceptional stability, making it resistant to damage, deformation, mold, and insect infestation, ensuring it can accompany you for a very long time. 2. When exposed to water, the wood fibers absorb moisture slightly, and as they release it, they carry the wood's natural fragrance. When you draw near, you can experience a cypress aroma reminiscent of being in a forest, a scent unmatched by imported cypress or hinoki from other countries. 3. Following Taiwan's logging ban, this wood can only be sourced from limited supplies such as early stockpiles, old house beams, and vintage furniture, making the material increasingly rare and precious. 4. Minor nail holes and natural wood knots are normal occurrences in some products and are not considered defects. 5.
