Yesterday, an American lady stood outside the unit next door for a long time, nearly an hour and a half. She likely had an appointment, but perhaps it was forgotten. On my few trips to the restroom, I invited her to sit in our shop, but she politely declined. Then, the security guard on her rounds came by. I overheard the guard speaking to her in Cantonese for a very, very long time. The guard didn't seem to consider that the lady might not understand Cantonese at all 🤣. - Later, when I went out again, the American lady asked me, "What is 自由行? The security lady keeps talking about 自由行." Internally, I was utterly bewildered 🤣. Why would the security guard randomly explain "ziyau haang" (free and easy travel) to a foreigner? - Now that I've shared a little story from our day, let's talk about bags!
