Orange-Red Patchwork Reversible Square Sleeveless Vest Top with Yarn-Dyed Floral Print, Double-Layer Soft Cotton

When laid flat, the vest forms a square. It is composed of two squares, one large and one small, and two rectangles. When the stripes on the large square are vertical, the rectangles have horizontal stripes. When the stripes on the large square are horizontal, the rectangles have vertical stripes. The small squares feature diagonal stripes, with the direction of the diagonals differing. This piece is reversible, offering two looks that are subtly similar yet distinctly different. The inspiration for this design came from recently helping my daughter with her math homework. The varied directions of the stripes are akin to differing opinions – they cannot be unified. Because they are not unified, the design appears rich and varied. If everything were uniform, it would be quite dull. The small squares, existing at an angle, are the smallest yet most noticeable and also the most interesting.
