Handwoven Cashmere Silk Stole [Saika ex] Materials: 55% Cashmere, 30% Silk, 15% Wool Size: Approx. 55cm x 190cm (excluding 9cm fringe) Weight: Approx. 160g This is a large stole woven with intricate patterns using the traditional Nordic Drelling technique. We use high-quality, fine-gauge threads from an Italian spinning mill, woven gently by hand. Unlike machine-woven products, this stole is airy, fluffy, soft, and has a very smooth texture that drapes lightly and comfortably. The base weave is in a soft ivory yarn, with patterns woven in a vibrant grayish-blue. In terms of traditional Japanese colors, it's a beautiful shade close to "Usugunjo" (light indigo). A dark navy border is added as an accent within the woven pattern. About a quarter of the fabric width features a different weave pattern, creating variations in color expression, so you can enjoy various looks depending on how you wear it. It's recommended as an alternative to tops or coats in spring and autumn, for protection against air conditioning or as a sunshade in summer, and for a small wrap around the neck like a scarf in winter. With its silk blend, it has an elegant sheen and vibrancy, making it suitable for formal occasions. Cashmere fibers are characterized by their exceptional fineness and softness compared to other animal hair fibers. They are very lightweight yet offer extremely high heat and moisture retention, and are gentle on the skin, making them safe for those with sensitive skin.
