Mir-1 Automat, lens for SLR, #791993 37 mm, f/2.8, special mount, "Arsenal", Kiev, Ukraine USSR with box and front cap Perfect condition. Fully working. Lens is clear and clean, without any fungus or scratches. Inside there are microspecks of microdust. Focus ring rotates properly and a bit tightly. Aperture blades are free of oil. Body has very small, almost invisible signs of age and use. Box and cap are original. Camera "Kiev-10" is not included and is shown as an example of mount. This is a fixed wide-angle high lens-speed lens for SLR with one-layered anti-reflection coating for SLR camera "Kiev-10", "Kiev-11", "Kiev-15 Tee", "Kiev-15 TTL". Lens was designed on base of CZJ Flektogon 3.5/28 at State Optical Institute in 1954. Its production started in 1958. The first lens is meniscus reducing vignetting when opened aperture. In 1958 at Brussels World's Fair (Expo-58) set of Soviet lenses (including MP-2 Russar, Mir-1, Tair-11, Tair-3, MTO-500, MTO-1000) got a "Grand Prix". In 1959 lens got reward at Soviet Exhibition of National Economy. Lens was produced at many plants: KMZ (Krasnogorsk), ZOMZ (Zagorsk), "Jupiter" (Valdai), VOMZ (Vologda), "Arsenal" (Kiev). In USSR this lens had possible mounts: M39 (for SLR), M42 (for SLR), special bayonet for Kiev-10 and -15 (for SLR - it was called "Mir-1 Automat" - this lens), lens with central shutter for Zenit-4 (for SLR - it was called "Mir-1C"). Also it produced a variant "Mir-1A" with changeable adapter for M42, M39, Nikon F and Pentax K mounts. Note, that this lens does not have an aperture ring. Aperture is set by the camera. This lens can be set without adapter to SLR "Kiev-10" or "Kiev-15" only.
