Laundry Pin Brooch with Vintage Uranium Glass, Abundant Bells, Amethyst and Green Agate, and Afghan Parts

This is a pin brooch crafted by connecting vintage uranium glass, abundant bells, amethyst & green agate, and Afghan parts onto a vintage laundry pin. The lustrous lemon-yellow beads get their color from a very small amount of uranium. They glow under blacklight! These are Bohemian beads, sometimes referred to as Vaseline glass. They were made between the 1920s and 1930s. As they are old, they bear some scratches, but these imperfections become endearing when considering their age. The beads have a shape that resembles a curved rectangular prism. (Uranium glass bead size: 1.7cm height, 1.9cm width) The bells have a slightly irregular shape with some color variations, giving them a charming, handmade feel! Amethyst with delicate cuts is paired with perfectly round green agate beads. The pretzel-like parts hail from Afghanistan, being old pieces once used in traditional clothing and adornments. A single vintage laundry pin from America has been used. These pins were utilized in America for managing laundry. They are stamped with "H" and "1".
