This is the WGP replacement nib from Glass Studio Kasho. ■ How to replace the tip of the new Wood Glass Pen WGP series To remove the pen, pinch the hard glass tip and pull it out while twisting it. Insert the glass barrel with the silicone tube all the way into the hole in the wooden barrel. [Commitment to quality] A hard glass nib is inserted into Studio Kasho's original wooden pen body. Because the pen body is made of wood, it is durable, easy to hold, and very lightweight. The glass nib can be removed by twisting and pulling it out, so you can easily replace the nib. ■How to use the glass pen Please use water-based bottled ink for fountain pens. Dip about 1/2 of the nib into the ink and then pull it out. The ink is drawn up through the grooves in the tip of the pen by capillary action, allowing you to write letters and lines with the ink that has been drawn up into the grooves. There are 10 grooves in the tip of the glass pen, and by occasionally turning the glass pen body while writing, you can use the ink in the grooves evenly. The hard glass tip is very delicate, so be careful not to hit the tip against the edge or bottom of the ink bottle as this may break. ■ How to care for your glass pen After using the glass pen, rinse the ink off the tip with water, then wipe off the moisture with a soft cloth and store it in the tip cover. If ink has built up in the groove of the tip, gently wash it off with a toothbrush and lukewarm water. ■The shape and writing width of the glass nib are completely handmade using burner work, so there may be slight individual differences between each pen. ■If the pen tip becomes damaged or worn out, replace it with a new tip (sold separately).
