Our grandfather is a highly respected spiritual medium in the family, who can communicate with the family god we worship - "Kui Dou Xingjun". In the 1940s, my grandfather did not receive a formal education, but because of this, he was special for that era. Whenever the gods come, grandpa will learn about astronomy and geography. This miraculous ability amazes us every time. This memory is deeply imprinted in our hearts and has become our eternal spiritual wealth.
Kui Dou Xingjun, also known as Kui Xing Ye, Da Kui Fu Zi, and Kui Xing Jun, is one of the Five Wenchangs (Emperor Zitong, Emperor Fuyou, Emperor Wenheng, Lord Kui Douxing, and Lord Zhu Yixing). Ancient astrologers believed that the four stars in the Big Dipper symbolized heaven, earth, people, and time, and had mysterious power. The image of Kuidou Xingjun is a golden body with a ghost face, with his right foot stepping on a turtle, his left foot kicking the Big Dipper, his right hand holding a pen, and his left hand holding a gold ingot, which symbolizes knowledge and talent.
The connection between my grandfather and Kui Dou Xingjun became the source of inspiration for us to create this unique coffee bean.
