(It might be easier to imagine the coloring method if you imagine a three-dimensional version of a Japanese paper tear-out picture...♪) The works are not colored with paint, but are expressed using the colors of the washi paper itself, using various types of washi paper of different colors and thicknesses. The surface is finished with varnish after coloring, so it is easy to clean and can be used for a long time while retaining the texture and color of the washi paper.
