FOAK Vintage: Longines Black Cowhide Antique Boston Bag

Founded in 1832, the Swiss watch and clock brand Longines also designed fashion accessories in addition to watches. Antique bags often feature exotic leather patterns as their material. I recall a piece encountered long ago that was also made of lizard-embossed leather. A classic black Boston bag. The leather is thick yet soft cowhide, with a rich, lustrous sheen. Embossed Longines logo. Decorated with lizard-embossed accents on the handles and both sides. One side has a small pocket for stashing small items. The hardware shows some minor, inconspicuous signs of color fading. Four metal feet protect the bottom of the bag. The suede lining is clean, with a single compartment and two small pockets. It can comfortably fit a water bottle, a novel, and other essentials, offering practical capacity. Overall, it is well-preserved with no obvious signs of wear. This is a rare early Longines piece, worthy of collection.
