The sample is made with cotton wool, but you can use wool yarn as well and blend yarn. It is better if it is a bit of a stretchy cotton, like some cotton blend yarns or merino wool.

Yardage 126 yards (115 meters)
Unit weight 50 grams (1.76 ounces)
Hook size: 3.75mm for bonnet and 4.5mm for ribbing. Or size needed to obtain gauge.
