What is 14KGF (14K Gold Filled)? It is a material where more than 1/20th of its total weight is 14K gold. It is made by thermally bonding a thick 14K gold plate, about 100 times thicker than gold plating, to a base metal like brass. This ensures that the gold layer will not peel off with long-term use, unlike gold plating. 14KGF possesses an elegant, pure gold luster that differs from gold plating and is considered a high-quality jewelry material overseas. Furthermore, 14KGF is considered a material that is less likely to cause metal allergies. Many individuals with metal sensitivities can wear it with peace of mind.
