The Northern Song great writer Su Dongpo once wrote in his poem, “Comb the hair hundreds of times, lying with the hair loose around and sleeping deeply till dawn.” Besides, combs are frequently used by poets in poetry to describe love, yearning, feelings, and so on. In addition to brushing hair, combs have the meaning of “welcoming the good and preventing the evil.” In ancient times, combs were meant for engagement and living together forever. It is still a custom to give combs on Chinese Valentine’s Day in some regions of China. Because of the unique meanings of combs, TalkWood makes wood crafts that is round in shape, fragrant, and quiet with attention and care. Our combs are anti-static, not tangling the hair, and portable.
